Jan - The Maker
A few years ago, Jan experienced the heartbreaking loss of his beloved Jack Russell, Crumb, who had been his loyal companion for 17 wonderful years. When Crumb's ashes were returned in a simple cardboard tube, Jan felt inspired to create something truly special to honour their cherished bond. After two years of experimenting with different combinations of clay, ash, and glazes, he found the perfect way to celebrate Crumb's memory. This journey led to the creation of Ash to Urns, with a simple mission to help other pet parents honor their beloved pets too.
